Personal Summary:
I was born on August 5, 1983, and grew up with a single mother as an only child. My father have been absent for my life, so I don't know him nor have I seen him. I struggle with flesh issues-low self-esteem, sexuality, and masculinity. I did have some positive male role models in my life, but I would not open myself and use those role models to my advantage.
I always dreamt of changing my personal situations to be better. Even though I struggled with social interaction among peers, I would start a club on campus to interact with others for a common interest and goal.
Furthermore, I have been involved in Young Black Leaders, worked major awards and events; such as, BET Awards and Lady of Soul Awards. I hosted my own television program on Long Beach Public Access. I continued to express myself socially in college, with being a member of ASB(Associated Student Body) as a secretary, and Student Trustee.
